The MacBook Pro is Apple’s most powerful laptop model… It has received many revisions since it’s 2006 debut, including a 2012 release of a thinner MacBook Pro with a 2880×1800 Retina display, an unprecedented resolution in notebooks. The Macbook Pro with Retina display is truly a feat of engineering. To maximize thinness, Apple removed the optical drive and made it impossible to upgrade the hard drive or RAM, as they are soldered directly to the logic board. However, Apple continues to manufacture and sell a version of the MacBook Pro without the Retina display that keeps the optical drive and replaceable RAM and hard drive.
Overview
The MacBook Pro is an amazing piece of technology, but it is still prone to many of the problems that plague computers. Upgrades and repairs will vary based on model, but in general, we can replace or upgrade your hard drive or memory (RAM), replace a broken display assembly and troubleshoot software errors as well.
